1. Selection of correct resources
It is one of the most important and pivotal step. Minimize the number of book you study for your exam but make sure you cover the whole syllabus.

If you haven’t started them, we recommend you to adopt First aid and All India NEET PGMEE pattern Volume 1 and 2 By Mudit khanna as your primary study material and go to other materials only after you thoroughly completed and have command on your primary materials
Practicing previously asked question is also very important since they give the clue regarding the high yield chapters and there is always good chance of repetition of 5- 10 percent of previously asked question. Though you can get couple of books but we don’t recommend any. They have a lot of mistakes, unrelated and misleading explanation.

2. Proper Study Room
Set up a proper study room with study table, chair and book rack. Try to spend your study time on your table rather than the bed or floor. Don’t waste time on focusing at the arrangement of your books, bed clothes as per others opinion. Be comfortable and own your room. Keep a bottle of water and some fruits.

3. Make schedule and daily review diary
Make a practical study schedule with provision of buffer period and rest periods after every 2-3 hours of your study period. It is the best way to complete all the topics on correct time .The buffer period will help you cover the pending topics, search and resolve your queries not present in your study materials. Proper rest will help you maintain the pace and consolidate what you have studied.
Keep a review diary and review about your whole day study at the end of the day. Evaluate and rate your efforts yourself. It will help you improvise your study strategy and its implementation.


4. Discussion and Daily revision
Discussion and daily revision will consolidate what you have studied.
You can discuss with your sincere friends who have already gone through that topics be careful of not wasting your precious time on unnecessary bicker or chat, as there is always its chance. 5. Study Hours
Avoid using your gadgets in your study hours, use them in buffer hours to search and resolve your quarries.
Studying in target based manner and try to finish the topics in the scheduled hours if pending finish them in buffer hours. Give your best to achieve it.
You make your own notes. Don’t rely on friends or institutional notes available online. If possible annotate extra information on the book itself or make precise comparison notes, wall charts. They are helpful during revision.
Don’t study in your Rest time, use it for rest, drinking water or for washroom purpose.


6. Regular Assessment
You should have regular assessment of what you have studied through standard tests. Take the online test as a real exam. Solve the MCQs, have the reasons for correct and wrong options before choosing. In difficult questions Read the questions cautiously and adopt elimination method of solving.

7 Improving the graph through active approach

8. Last week approach.
Dedicate your last week for revision. Go through your notes, wall charts, and annotations. Try to revise the high yield topics. Do not start a new chapter or a book for revision. It always adds stress and is rarely beneficial.
You should have proper food, proper hydration and timely sleep on the night before your exam.
Do not consume any alcoholic drinks or any drug for remaining alert.


9. On the day of exam
Wake up early so that u have time for taking shower, breakfast and getting ready.
Confirm the center and time of the exam to make sure. Occasionally students reach to the wrong center.
Have a balanced breakfast and eat nothing risky. Bananas and apples are always a good option.
Before leaving home, check that you have everything that you will need – admit card, identity card, pen (if asked) and money just sufficient for lunch and taxi fare. Avoid taking gadgets, ornaments or other restricted objects to the exam center
You should head for the center with plenty of time in your hand.
Avoid noisy and panicking peoples, they never favor but disturb your concentration.
Restrict fluid and go to the toilet before the exam starts. Since time is limited avoid wasting it for toilets.


10. During Exam
Go through all the questions carefully before starting and plan for the time.

Start answering the questions that you feel most confident about. And mark the question you skip so that you could find it easily later.
Don’t spend more time on a particular section or question than you allocated it. You might run out of time to answer other questions and will lose those extra mark.
Think over the difficult question and choose the probable answer. Do not leave any question as there is no negative marking.
Use every minute of the exam and if you have time left, review your answers before handing back the paper.
